Princess Bennell, 16 months, and Scarlett Daffern, 4, had been missing for four days after disappearing from their home in Nelson on Saturday (July 18).

Police said they believed the girls might be in the company of their mum Kelly Rusling and a man "who is known to them".

The force said it had been concerned for their welfare and issued a missing person's appeal to help find them yesterday.
