A man has been charged after a knifepoint robbery in Bamber Bridge.
Residents were told to stay indoors while police, included armed officers, responded to the robbery at a home in Collins Road last Monday evening (December 29).
It was reported that the victim was threatened with a knife, and a phone and bank card were taken from the address at around 6.40pm.
The offender fled the scene and a search was launched, with the police helicopter assisting officers on the ground. A man in his 40s was subsequently arrested at a nearby address in Bamber Bridge.
Lancashire Police said the suspect, Craig Milligan, 48, has since been charged with robbery.
A spokesperson for the force said Milligan, of no fixed address, was charged with threatening a person with an offensive weapon/bladed article/corrosive substance in a private place.
