'Driver going 110mph on the M55 didn't see police behind him'
A motorist has been released without charge after being arrested on suspicion of drink driving, police said.
His white Ford was seen moving at speeds 'in excess of 110mph on the M55 at Kirkham', the Road Policing Unit said, tweeting to say the driver 'failed to see officers driving behind him'.
The motorist was also reported for speeding, with the car recovered, it added.
