Chance to own your own Tesco Express in Chorley - here's how much you'll need
A rare opportunity has come up to own Lancashire’s newest Tesco Express shops.
If you’ve ever fancied owning your own Tesco Express, here’s the chance.
For £2.6m you could be landlord of the retail giant’s newest shop - in Eaves Green Road, Chorley.
The building, which has been built next to the former Minstrel pub, is being marketed by Savills. It’s a purpose-built convenience store with a gross internal area of 3,755 sq. ft (349 sq. m) and 21 car parking spaces, with landscaping surrounding.
It was handed over to Tesco and Wenea Services Ltd at the beginning of April, bringing in a total commercial rent of £146,000 per annum.

The property is to be let to Tesco Stores Limited on a full repairing and insuring lease for a term of 15 years at an initial rent of £130,000 per annum and the EV chargers are let to Wenea Services UK Limited, comprising two chargers serving four bays, on a 30-year lease at £16,000 per annum.
Savills say there is a net yearly yield of 5.28 per cent.
