5. The Italian Orchard
One of five Italian restaurants of the San Marco Group. The Bragagnini family have run the business for more than 30 years and try to source some of their ingredients from back home in Italy. The Orchard off Whittingham Lane, Broughton, offers a blend of traditional and modern Italian cookery. Photo: LEP staff
6. Turtle Bay
Caribbean cuisine in the heart of the city centre. Turtle Bay, in Crystal House overlooking the Flag Market, offers an authentic taste of the Caribbean with great food, great cocktails and a great atmosphere. Photo: LEP staff
7. The Silk Route
It's kerb appeal may not be so great, situated as it is on a retail park off Strand Road, but what the Silk Route lacks outside it more than makes up for inside. One of the best Asian restaurants in the area with a great reputation for taste and quality. Photo: LEP staff
8. The Mill at St Catherine's
What began as a new way to raise much-needed funds for the St Catherine's Hospice - it is based in the grounds - has become a great cafe/restaurant which is growing in popularity year after year. The Mill serves classic British fare in its beautifully restored barn and also serves as a community hub. Photo: LEP staff
