Jos Buttler: A son of Somerset but now an adopted Lancastrian, Buttler is arguably England's greatest ever limited-overs batsman, but has also played a fair few Test matches as well, although he never quite cemented his place in England's team. Photo: John Walton
David Lloyd: A real jack-of-all-trades, the former player, umpire, coach, and commentator David 'Bumble' Lloyd is simply one of the most beloved figures in English cricket. Pictured here during a visit to Samlesbury CE Junior School, Bumble is Accrington's finest son. Photo: RETRO
Johnny Briggs: The second-highest wicket-taker in Lancashire's history after Brian Statham, Johnny Briggs also took 117 wickets at an average of 17.75 for England in the 1880s and 1890s. Photo: Other
Johnny Tyldesley: The man who scored 86 centuries and 37,897 runs in 608 matches for Lancashire, Johnny Tyldesley also played 31 Tests for England. Photo: Other
