Has lockdown worked for South Ribble? Here are the neighbourhoods where Covid infections fell the fastest in the last seven days

South Ribble has now been in a lockdown for more than two months - but are coronavirus cases falling everywhere?

The latest figures show 12 out of 17 neighbourhoods have seen a drop in infections in the latest seven-day period.

Here we reveal which neighbourhoods have seen the biggest drop in case rates per 100,000 people between 26 February and 05 March.

Leyland North has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 24%, in the seven days to January 29.

Leyland South East & Buckshaw Village has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 24%, in the seven days to January 29.

Bamber Bridge West has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 16%, in the seven days to January 29.

Penwortham South has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 11%, in the seven days to January 29.
