Has lockdown worked for South Ribble? Here are the neighbourhoods where Covid infections fell the fastest in the last seven days

South Ribble has now been in a lockdown for more than two months - but are coronavirus cases falling everywhere?

The latest figures show 12 out of 17 neighbourhoods have seen a drop in infections in the latest seven-day period.

Here we reveal which neighbourhoods have seen the biggest drop in case rates per 100,000 people between 26 February and 05 March.

New Longton & Hutton has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 5%, in the seven days to January 29.

Gregson Lane & Coupe Green has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 5%, in the seven days to January 29.

Lower Penwortham North has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 4%, in the seven days to January 29.
