Has lockdown worked for South Ribble? Here are the neighbourhoods where Covid infections fell the fastest in the last seven days

South Ribble has now been in a lockdown for more than two months - but are coronavirus cases falling everywhere?

The latest figures show 12 out of 17 neighbourhoods have seen a drop in infections in the latest seven-day period.

Here we reveal which neighbourhoods have seen the biggest drop in case rates per 100,000 people between 26 February and 05 March.

Lower Penwortham South has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 36%, in the seven days to January 29.

Lostock Hall has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 31%, in the seven days to January 29.

Walton-le-Dale has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 29%, in the seven days to January 29.

Bamber Bridge East has seen rates of positive Covid cases fall by 25%, in the seven days to January 29.
