It involves downloading a make-your-own Bear Hunt checklist, inspired by the popular picture book, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt .

Those taking part can download the fun and educational resource from the Get Blackpool Reading website and complete tasks which imitate the family’s journey through the book to find the bear.

Then, the children have to take a photo impersonating a bear and send it to the Get Blackpool email address, [email protected].

Families will then receive a token to swap fora copy of the book and a DVD, supplied by Walker Books.
