At the beginning of 2025, Hengst acquired the British company International Filtration Solutions from Preston.

The subsidiary has now moved to Morecambe, and will now also operate under the Hengst name and be present on the market.

“In Morecambe, we are combining our team's many years of experience in the field of medical technology with Hengst's global expertise,” said Brett Smyth, managing director of the British company.

"Our plant in Morecambe is a promising location for the Hengst Group, which is sure to grow rapidly.”

Here, Hengst manufactures filtration solutions for medical products to the highest standards.

Another special feature is a dedicated assembly line for adsorbents, which will further expand Hengst's capabilities in the removal of surgical smoke gases and VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
