Preston-based Lantei Compliance Services expands its team

A Preston-based facilities management company has expanded its team by taking on several apprentices.

The new staff at Lantei Compliance Services will be working across a variety of departments including operations, Helpdesk and Field Engineers.

The Essex Street company said apprenticeships offer young people valuable work experience and life changing opportunities to expand their skills in an industry or department of their interest to be a step up the ladder in starting their career.

Anthony Smith, CEO of Lantei said: “We believe in the progression of young people and we want to provide opportunities for people to enhance their skills and help them achieve their future career goals”.

Recently employed helpdesk apprentice, Jess Fowler said: “I wanted to earn money but develop my skills and knowledge of the working environment.

“Lantei was the perfect place for me to do this, as I am responsible for undertaking a variety of jobs.

“As the company is growing, there is always change which is what you need to learn about in the real world of work”.

The firm was established in 2010 by Anthony and Leona Smith, and is focused predominantly in Lancashire but are growing across the UK, focusing on Birmingham and London.

It has various customers from small local companies to multinationals, providing them with services such as Fixed Wire Testing, PAT testing and Thermal Surveys. Lantei won Investors in People Gold Standard earlier this year.

Workology, an apprenticeship recruitment specialist in Blackpool successfully matched some of their candidates with Lantei’s requirements.
