When, where, and what opening freebies on offer as new store opens in Preston's St George's shopping centre
As this Preston shopping centre enters a new era, its newest tenant is staging a grand opening with freebies on offer.
Prizes and goody bags will be on offer when a new store for ‘real women’ stages a grand opening in Preston’s St George’s Shopping Centre.
Value womenswear fashion retailer Bonmarché is bringing its latest collections to Preston. The new store is promising showcase the latest range of inspirational fashion for real women, everything from wardrobe staples and occassionwear to lingerie, nightwear, accessories, and footwear.
The store will also feature the new collections from their brand ambassadors Lisa Snowdon and Lorraine Kelly as well as their everyday luxury brand Dash and casual lifestyle brand Autonomy.
To celebrate the grand opening, customers can enjoy three exclusive opening-day offers:
- The first 30 purchasing customers will receive a complimentary goody bag
- The first 200 customers in-store can enjoy a free lucky dip prize
- 5 Golden Tickets worth £30 each will be hidden throughout the store on opening day
The store will officially open at 9am on Thursday May 28 and work is ongoing ahead of the big day. Ahead of time, multiple local job opportunities were offered.

Founded in Wakefield in 1982, Bonmarché is one of the UK’s largest women’s only value retailers focused on selling affordable, quality womenswear fashion in sizes 10-28. The company currently operated out of 220 stores nationwide as well as online, telephone ordering and a new app.
The new store opening is part of an expansion nationwide.
Bonmarché previously operated a store at St George’s Shopping Centre but it closed down after the brand fell into administration in 2019.
