City centre lap dancing club Perfect 10's has lodged plans to stay open for longer

Gentleman’s club Perfect 10’s in Lune Street wants to extend the permitted times for all licensable activities by one hour – shutting up at 3:30am instead of 2:30am as it does now.
If successful, it would also include longer opening hours for the club’s bar.

The application follows a submission in 2014 from the club to extend its opening hours to 5am Monday to Saturday and 2:30am on Sunday, with the sale of alcohol permitted to the same times too.
Preston Town Centre Coun Drew Gale previously supported the 2014 application on the grounds that it is good to encourage more commerce and people in the city centre.
Speaking to the Post about the fresh application, Coun Gale – who is a member of the licencing committee and sub-committee – said: “I am tentatively supportive of the application.

“As long as the police have no objections to it then neither will I.”
Perfect 10’s has also asked to vary the rule surrounding its door staff operating times, with a desire to operate on a risk assessment basis.
Efforts to speak with the owners of Perfect 10’s were made but no response was received prior to publication.
