ANPR parking controls introduced at Buckshaw Village Surgery and Community Centre
Penalty charges of £70 will be issued to those flouting the new restrictions...
Patients visiting Buckshaw Village Surgery are being warned about new parking controls being introduced at the car park.
Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) will soon come into operation, with parking reserved for patients and staff while they are on the premises.

Medical group SH Healthcare Partners said the new restrictions will be enforced by parking management firm Ezee Park and penalty charges of £70 will be issued to those who do not register their vehicle when visiting the surgery.
Patients have been urged to check the signage and ensure they register their vehicle correctly on the provided handsets in the surgery waiting room when attending appointments.
The car park is shared with the local Community Centre and a dentist practice, but separate parking arrangements will apply to visitors using these facilities.

A spokesperson for SH Healthcare Partners said: “The shared car park for Buckshaw Village Surgery will see the introduction of controlled parking with Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) in operation.
“Parking is available for patients and staff only, and only when on the premises.
“Please note the car park is managed by external company Ezee Park, and the company is not responsible for enforcement and cannot get involved in parking appeals.
“Therefore, when visiting the surgery patients should follow the instructions listed on the signage in the car park and enter their registration number on the handsets located in the waiting room to avoid being issued with a fine.
“This is a shared car park with the Community Centre, where separate arrangements should be followed for that facility.”
