Variety the Grand spice of life for X Factor Paul

Lancaster’s X Factor star Paul Akister has given local charity Unique Kidz and Co a boost by agreeing to perform at their first Variety Night on Saturday, January 25 at the city’s Grand Theatre.

The evening will also boast turns from several Britain’s Got Talent performers and be hosted by Danny Mathews from The Bay.

Numerous up-and-coming local acts will take part too, and there will be a raffle.

A family evening of fun and entertainment is promised, and all proceeds will go to Unique Kidz and Co.

The charity has resolved to raise £75,000 by April with which to kit out its new centre for disabled children at Lancaster Leisure Park.
