Two Preston men have crazy shave for Hooves for Healing charity

Two pub goers endured an extreme makeover when they visited their local.

Ian Foster had his head shaved into a mohawk, with black and white zebra stripes, at Princess Alice pub, in Preston, whilst Ritchie Evans, sported a new bald look, after losing his ponytail, raising more than £1,000 for Hooves for Healing, which provides horse therapy for children with autism.

A zebra cut in Preston and a charity shave in Chorley this weekend

“Princess Alice was buzzing and full of people showing their support. My sister Denise Foster-Gawne shaved our hair and dyed my mohawk.

“The landlord and landlady of the pub were also great hosts.

“This all started when my friends dared me to have my hair shaved into a mohawk. A Newcastle fan also goes into the pub and so that is where the black and white stripes come from. Someone I know does marathons and has raised funds for Hooves for Healing, so I jumped on that. It is a great charity.”
