2020 has seen gigs and events cancelled, venues closed and changes to virtually every facet of our lives.
Yet there is still hope for next year with plans already in place for many of our annual events to make a comeback.
From gigs and festivals, to sporting events and much more, here are some of the 'post lockdown' events that we can look forward to in 2021:

5. Cheer on your team
As well as welcoming full crowds back to Deepdale, Lancashire host the annual Tour of Lancashire cycling event on March 14, 2021.

6. Raising money for great causes
Many of 2020's charity events were inevitably cancelled, but the good news is that events like Race for Life, Pretty Muddy Race for Life and St Catherine's Moonlight Walks are planning to be back next year.

7. Food and drink festivals
Lancashire hosts an array of beer festivals, food festivals and farmer's markets every year. We'll hopefully see you at The Continental Beer Festival, or the Plungington Gin festival next year.

8. Summer fun
Annual events that bring the city together have been sorely missed this year. We're looking forward to welcoming back events including, Preston Mela, Preston Caribbean Carnival, Fulwood Barracks Military show and many more in 2021.
