Global clubbing icon Cream confirmed for Preston Weekender 2026 on Flag Market
Preston Weekender has revealed its all-star line-up for this year’s festival in Flag Market.
On Saturday, May 2, iconic dance brand Cream will take over the Flag Market with a full production show co-headlined by Paul Oakenfold and Joel Corry. The line-up will also feature Cream resident Kola plus local support.

Mark Whittle from Preston BID, co-organisers of the event alongside Preston City Council, said: “The 2025 Weekender was something else. Seeing Preston come together to celebrate on such a scale, was special.
“This year, we’re upping the ante, and are on a mission to welcome even more people to the event and our great city, to see what we’re all about, and to enjoy our legendary hospitality”.
Twice voted the world’s number one DJ, Paul Oakenfold is a pioneering global superstar who helped shape house and trance music while producing hits for artists like Madonna, U2, and The Rolling Stones. His career spans worldwide tours, sold-out shows, blockbuster film scores, and a global radio show reaching 25 million listeners each month.

Joel Corry is a hitmaker with over 5.5 billion streams and 11 million singles sold, known for global smashes like Head & Heart with MNEK, Out Out with David Guetta, Charlie XCX and Jax Jones, and Bed with Raye. An in-demand remixer and with residencies in Ibiza and Las Vegas, Joel’s style blends underground grooves with euphoric energy.
Councillor Anna Hindle, Cabinet Member for Culture and Arts at Preston City Council, said: “Preston has a long-standing reputation for bringing people together through music, and we are absolutely thrilled to welcome Cream’s iconic brand and world-class artists like Paul Oakenfold and Joel Corry.
“Events like Preston Weekender not only showcase our city as a vibrant destination for entertainment but also provides a welcome boost to local businesses. We look forward to seeing the atmosphere this event creates and the positive impact it will have across our community.”
