Friargate's Winter Lodge returns for the festive season
The Winter Lodge will be bringing the festive spirit from this weekend.
‘Tis the season to be jolly - or it is at the end of this week, at least.

On Saturday (November 7), Preston is set to welcome the return of the Winter Lodge for the seventh year running, as work finally finished on the city’s only dedicated Christmas bar last night.

The Winter Lodge will be welcoming revellers between November 7 right through to the end of December, with owners promising “the same wooden huts, the same canopy of ten thousand lights, and the same mug of something warm on Friargate”.
The pop-up first launched in 2019, and has returned each year to transform the Nashville Country Bar into a festive retreat for the winter season.

Visitors will be able to sit inside the building or on the street outside, thanks to a cosy wooden hut right in the heart of Friargate.
While the Lodge will be free to enter and use, table bookings are set to officially open in the coming days.
