The charity teamed up with Preston-based Neesh Events to host the
bling-tastic bash, with a feast of Indian food, entertainment full of singers, dancers and even a nod to the art of henna.

St Catherine’s summer marquee was transformed into an Indian-themed party scene and guests started with a drinks reception on the lawn, before enjoying Indian cuisine, followed by Bollywood dancing.

St Catherine’s fund-raiser Emma Jacovelli, who organised Bollywood Night, said: “It was great to see our guests taking the Indian theme on board and arriving in their saris.

“A sari-dressing service was provided on the night before the event took place, and people made donations to the charity.

“The night was fantastic, everyone made a real effort to get involved and have a go at the traditional Indian dancing.”
