The story revolves around Jamie New, a sixteen-year-old living on a council estate in Sheffield.

Jamie, who doesn’t quite fit in and is apprehensive about the future, is on a journey to become a sensation. With the unwavering support of his loving mother and friends, Jamie confronts prejudice and bullying, stepping from the shadows into the spotlight.
