Bushcraft for Fathers Day fun
Learn bushcraft at Brockholes Nature Reserve this Sunday as the attraction hosts a special Father’s Day edition of its hugely popular Wild Families events.
The session, which takes place in the revolutionary centre’s Activities Room and out on the reserve, runs from 2pm to 4pm.
Families can take part in learning new adventurous activities including basic fire lighting, camp cooking and survival skills.
Wild Families events proved enormously popular at the reserve last year, attracting more than 100 people to each of the sessions, which take place mostly outside and include elements of natural play. Entry is £5 per person or £18 for a family ticket and booking is highly recommended on 01772 872000.
