Preston North End vs Stoke City referee: Confirmed appointment for Deepdale clash
It’s a massive Friday night as PNE host the Potters
Preston North End will be officiated by Farai Hallam against Stoke City.

The Lilywhites are desperate for three points, having lost their last four Championship games and won just one. That run of form has seen Paul Heckingbottom’s side’s play-off hopes crash and burn, with PNE now 17th in the table.
They now prepare for another Friday night game, as Mark Robins’ Potters make the trip to Deepdale. Hallam will be the man in the middle at Deepdale, assisted by Alistair Nelson and Andrew Fox. The fourth official is David Webb.
It will be Hallam’s 25 game of the campaign, having overseen games in the Premier League, Carabao Cup, FA Cup and League Two, as well as the second tier. Hallam has shown 84 yellow cards but is yet to send a player off this season.
He took charge of Preston’s 0-1 defeat to Derby County, back in January, as well as the thrilling 3-2 win over Sheffield United, in October. Hallam broke on to the scene in the 2022/23 campaign, having played as a professional for four years in England and Spain.
