Preston North End supporters have watched some fine players pull on the white jersey over the years - but there have been flawed signings too.
For some, things just simply didn't work out at Deepdale. And those players, regardless of the success they may or may not have enjoyed elsewhere in their careers, are never forgotten. But, who do the PNE faithful consider to be some of the poorest recruits?
We asked that question on social media and received a sizable response. Comments flooded in and fans debated amongst themselves. We've already produced a list of the shouts for North End's best signing, but what about the other side of the argument?
Here's 13 of the names that cropped up, in no particular order.

9. Roger Davies
A blast from the past. Davies was loaned to PNE, from Derby, in 1972. Played two games and then headed back to the Rams. One North End fan commented: 'I know he only played twice for us, but his performances were less than impressive... He wandered about like a drugged ostrich." | Getty Images

10. Connor Wickham
Came off the bench for his debut, against West Brom. But, suffered a serious hamstring injury five minutes into his first start - and second appearance. Was released in January 2022, having signed in September 2021. | CameraSport - Stephen White

11. Tom Bayliss
Bayliss' price tag - claimed to be around the £1.5m mark - always followed him. Started to make some progress in the 2020/21 season, but had his contract cancelled in the summer of 2022 - having scored one goal in 21 appearances. | Getty Images

12. Neil Clement
Went on to be a great servant for West Brom, where he made more than 250 appearances. Signed for PNE, on loan from Chelsea, in 1999. Was sent off on debut, against Colchester, and ended up playing four games during his loan spell. | Getty Images
