The Lilywhites were beaten by Burnley at the weekend, 3-0, and Bristol City at home the week before.
They now have to avoid defeat in order to avoid a piece of unwanted history – six defeats in a row at Deepdale for the first time in the club’s history.
Ryan Lowe has hinted at making some changes to his side and he needs a win, with what should be a fully fit squad to choose from.
9. CM: Ali McCann
One of the more consistent options in the middle of North End's midfield this season, McCann should keep his place. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
10. LWB: Robbie Brady
The Irishman might have had a rough time against Burnley but he's an experienced pro that has the quality from set pieces that could prove decisive - he could be worth persevering with for another game or two. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
11. ST: Troy Parrott
Liam Delap didn't get much of a run in the last game but Troy Parrott has been waiting a while for a chance back in the North End side and this presents a good opportunity for just that. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
12. ST: Tom Cannon
Cannon had a couple of chances in the last home game and needs only to convert one to get his confidence up and hopefully he'll find the net regularly. Photo: CameraSport - Rich Linley
