Tom Cannon and Ched Evans both scored second half goals to give Ryan Lowe’s side maximum points and extended their unbeaten run to five games.
Here’s how we rated the players on the day...
5. CB: Greg Cunningham
One of the most reliable men in the North End squad, with Andrew Hughes on his way back from injury he could still be needed on the left side of the defence and it's unlikely Liam Lindsay dislodges him at this point too. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
6. RWB: Brad Potts
Potts' defensive work is admirable and with an away game coming up, first and foremost Ryan Lowe will want his side to be solid at the back, so he helps with those foundations. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
7. CM: Ben Whiteman
Whiteman is an important player at the base of the North End midfield and having missed a few games lately, he could do with a run in the team to hit top form. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
8. CM: Daniel Johnson
Daniel Johnson is looking like he could be getting back towards his best form and althoguh he wasn't a standout on Saturday there's enough to build on and his creativity is needed. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
