Preston North End have a short break to rest, reflect and recharge on their efforts so far this season, ahead of a bumper festive fixture schedule.
Ryan Lowe's men have endured the ups and downs of the Championship already, with a six game winning streak followed by a seven match winless run. However, North End got back on track in their last two games with victories over Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers.
With Preston sitting fifth in the table and some big matches to come over the Christmas period, we've had a go at scoring Ryan Lowe's squad once again. Players who have not featured much, or at all, have been omitted.

9. Robbie Brady - 5.5
Has started four games and been brought on in a further six. Comes in for his fair share of flak, but keeps going and did well off the bench at Blackburn. Needs to find that level more often. His assist for Lindsay at Rotherham was excellent. | CameraSport - Alex Dodd

10. Ryan Ledson - 6
Out of the team in recent weeks but will undoubtedly be needed as the campaign progresses. Did a solid job at the start of the season, when Preston were flying. | CameraSport - Alex Dodd
11. Ben Whiteman - 6
Been good to see him back in the side after missing the start of the season. Got himself off the mark at Ipswich and provided the wonderful assist for Lindsay at Blackburn. Gets on the ball and brings control to PNE's play. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth

12. Ali McCann - 6
Put in some crucial performances early on in the season alongside Ledson. He has spent the last five weeks or so on the sidelines with a thigh injury. Has had a tough year on that front and will want to come back strong. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
