Preston North End have a short break to rest, reflect and recharge on their efforts so far this season, ahead of a bumper festive fixture schedule.
Ryan Lowe's men have endured the ups and downs of the Championship already, with a six game winning streak followed by a seven match winless run. However, North End got back on track in their last two games with victories over Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers.
With Preston sitting fifth in the table and some big matches to come over the Christmas period, we've had a go at scoring Ryan Lowe's squad once again. Players who have not featured much, or at all, have been omitted.

5. Jack Whatmough - 5.5
Hit-and-miss time so far. Some decent cameos in the first few games and a solid, full league debut at Stoke -to go with a few shaky moments. Has missed more than a month through injury now. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth

6. Greg Cunningham - 5.5
Came into the team, out of the cold, for some tough fixtures against Leicester, Ipswich, Millwall, Southampton and Hull. Did well against the Saints but picked up a hamstring niggle at Hull. | Getty Images

7. Kian Best - 6.5
Has coped with the Championship stage admirably and deserves great credit for getting himself back into the team, after dropping out. That left foot has fantastic quality in it and the future ahead of him is exciting. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth

8. Brad Potts - 8.5
Having a brilliant season down that right side. North End have needed him once again and he has not let them down. His goal against Southampton was fantastic and epitomised the endeavour he shows every match. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
