With the January transfer window a little over six weeks away, those players entering their final six months with Preston North End come into focus.
Here, we take a look at the out-of-contract list at Deepdale, as things stand.
9. Josh Seary
Ryan Lowe spoke highly of Seary earlier this season, saying he can become a big player for Preston in years to come. That should be all the motivation Seary needs to keep working his socks off. If he stays focused and plays to his potential every time a game comes along, then the contract should take care of itself. | Preston World Copyright © 2023 CameraSport
10. Dai Cornell
A cracking character to have in the squad, as back-up to Freddie Woodman. It's not a glamorous role but by all accounts, Cornell is a top professional who cracks on with his work and makes sure he's ready if called upon. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him stay on, unless the Welshman wants regular game time somewhere. Photo: CameraSport - Andrew Kearns
11. Mikey O’Neill
Out on loan with Southport at present and getting game time under his belt. Has grabbed one goal so far for Jim Bentley's side. Was the first youngster to break into the first team picture under Ryan Lowe, but it's unclear at present what will happen next summer. | CameraSport - Dave Howarth
