There was a mixture of emotions at Deepdale on Saturday as Preston North End battled back to claim a point gainst Championship rivals Watford.
After making a positive start and edging in front Lewis Dobbin found the net with 19 minutes on the clock, North End were left frustrated as two goals in as many second-half minutes turned the game on its head by the time the hour-mark had been reached.
However, Paul Heckingbottom’s men would not be denied and they claimed a deserved point with a goal from Milutin Osmajic with 20 minutes remaining. Over 14,500 supporters made their way to Deepdale for the game and Heckingbottom and his players received their full support throughout the game but were unable to find a winning goal that could have lifted them into the play-off places.
That support will continue to be crucial between now and the end of the season - but how does Preston’s average home attendance compare to their rivals cross the Championship?
