Preston North End player ratings vs Watford with one 7/10 in end-to-end contest

Lewis Dobbin and Milutin Osmajic scored the goals for the Lilywhites

Preston North End drew 2-2 with Watford in an end-to-end contest at Deepdale.

Here are our player ratings from Deepdale.

Dai Cornell: Clawed a Kjerrumgaard header away nicely first half and saved Louza’s shot from range. Not a great deal he could do about the goals. 6

Odel Offiah: Strong in his defending first half but a tougher second half with an unfortunate own goal and Maamma beating him for the equaliser. 5.5

Jordan Storey: Headed over a great chance to win the game late on. Defended reasonably over the piece. 6

Lewis Gibson: Got dragged out in the build up to Watford’s second goal. Was a much tougher second half but kept going. 6

Pol Valentin: One early drive and cross. Steady on his return to the side. Played an hour or so. 6

Ben Whiteman: A lovely assist for the opener. Nicked the ball well on occasions. Some big clearances. Louza got away from him before the leveller. 7

Ali McCann: Hunted the ball in midfield with energy and won his fair share of tackles. The game became more of a challenge second half. 7.5

Andrija Vukcevic: Good intent down the left and defensively sound in the first half. The second Watford goal came down that side. 6

Alfie Devine: Went close in the first few minutes but saw his shot blocked. Probed in and around Watford’s box and the usual hard work was there. 6

Lewis Dobbin: Carried a threat and took his goal delightfully. PNE managed to find him in more dangerous area than recent weeks at home. 6.5

Daniel Jebbison: It didn’t always come off for him but he moved Watford’s defenders around and knitted things together at times. Played Devine in early doors. Forced off on the hour. 6

Thierry Small: CrossIntroduced for the final half-an-hour. Got his head down and delivered crosses. 6

Callum Lang: Showed aggression and positive intent, while supplying the assist for Osmajic’s goal. 6.5

Milutin Osmajic: Has some making up to do and made a start to doing so with a composed, well taken finish to level. 6.5

Andrew Hughes: Good to see him back out there. Helped combat the threat of Baah on a couple of occasions. 6.5
