A penalty from Adam Armstrong, from Joe Rafferty's foul and sending off, and further goals from Ben Brereton and Tyrhys Dolan saw Rovers to three points at a canter.
Here's how the players fared on the night...
1. Declan Rudd - 6
In a dismal display from PNE, Rudd will unfortunately get thrown into the mix but there was very little the 'keeper could do about the result. Did little wrong and could do nothing for the goals.
2. Darnell Fisher - 6
Did okay down the right flank, a good one v one defender. Picked up an injury towards the end which clearly hampered him and allowed Dolan in ahead of him.
3. Patrick Bauer - 5
Too many times he committed himself and didn't come away with the ball. Stepped out of defence for the second goal and left a hole.
4. Paul Huntington - 5
A real shaky night for the veteran, who at no point seemed very comfortable with Adam Armstrong buzzing around. Failed to cover as Bauer stepped out and Brereton had freedom of the box for the second.
