Frankie McAvoy made four changes for the game but it was Sepp van den Berg's own goal that was the difference on the night.
Here's how the players fared...
5. Sepp van den Berg - 7
Got forward well, particularly in the first half, and was a good outlet. Unfortunate that his lung bursting recovery run ended in over-compensation which saw him poke the ball past Daneil Iversen to decide the game.
6. Ben Whiteman - 6
Had a decent amount of the ball but failed to make much come of it. Had a shot in the first half from the centre of the box but could only pick out the keeper's chest.
7. Alan Browne - 6
No doubting the effort but like his fellow midfielder there wasn't too much end product. Can retain possession well enough and keep things ticking but not much cutting edge or drive coming from the deeper roles.
8. Daniel Johnson - 6
Pressed well high up on a couple of occasions and nearly benefited from it himself, his shot being deflected wide. Need more from him as the chief creative force, moving around to get on the ball and make things happen like we've seen in the past.
