Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday previous transfer target has 'no future' at Newcastle United
Last year Preston North End were being linked with Isaac Hayden - who now has ‘no future’ at Newcastle United, according to a report.
Hayden was linked with a move to Deepdale - along with several other Championship clubs - before ending up on loan at Queens Park Rangers. The 29-year-old made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops, helping them to secure survival under Marti Cifuentes. A report from the Chronicle has now suggested that Hayden could leave Newcastle by any means necessary.

Hide AdHe is said to have 'no future' on Tyneside and that 'any arrangement' to move him on is being looked at. The ex-Hull City and Arsenal man currently has two years remaining on his deal at St James’ Park - so another loan could be looked at, or even a permanent move away.
Birmingham City, Sheffield Wednesday and Blackburn Rovers were said to be interested a couple of months ago - in a player who has just shy of 120 appearances in the Premier League, as well as 82 in the Championship.
Back in January, first-team manager Ryan Lowe admitted that he would have 'loved' to have signed him, but ultimately North End ended up recruiting no one in the winter transfer window. According to TransferMarkt, Hayden is represented by the Unique Sports Group - who have Layton Stewart amongst their clients.
"Isaac Hayden is a fantastic footballer," said Lowe to the LEP, back in January. “He hasn't played as many games as he would've liked. I think the connection; I know his agent very well and we speak all the time about players. I am sure he would come and play for us if the opportunity was there. I am sure I'd love to have him if the opportunity was there. Who wouldn't?"
