It ends level after 45 minutes, with Emil Riis opening the scoring and Keane Lewis-Potter equalising.

North End started the game brightly and it was a lovely move to find the breakthrough. Alan Browne found Tom Barkhuizen in space and his low cross to the far post was perfect for Riis to slot home.

Hull levelled as Smallwood slotted a pass throguh for Keane Lewis-Potter who calmy put it under Iversen - on for Declan Rudd.

Emil Riis and Greg Cunningham are replaced by Brad Potts and Sepp van den Berg.

PNE have switched to a 4-1-2-1-2 shape in this half, with Barkhzuizen up front alongside Evans.

Barkhuizen gets a little bit of room on the left corner of the 18 yard box and looks to bend it into the far corner, with Ingram just about able to tip it over.

Barkhuizen gets in behind and looks to poke it past the keeper but once again is only just denied!

Van den Berg’s cross is aimed towards Evans but it’s turned behind.

Browne is up for the corner but seems to miss the ball unchallenged.

Goal Hull City. 1-2.

Smallwood’s shot from distance is deflected and it trickles into the bottom corner off the post.
