Magpies looking to cause huge upset by knocking Wolves out of the FA Cup
The Magpies welcome the Premier League outfit to Victory Park in the fourth round of the FA Cup – a match which will be screened live on BTsport.
On paper, the National League North outfit should not stand a chance against Nuno Espírito Santo’s men, as they are five levels below their illustrious opponents in the football pyramid.

And they will be well aware that nine other non-league clubs have managed to win through to the fifth round of the competition in the past.
Vermiglio revealed that his assistant Andy Preece watched Wolves in action for their lunchtime kick-off at Molineux against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, arriving for the start of
Chorley’s own league match against Farsley Celtic – a match they won 3-2, which was ironically the scoreline by which Wolves lost by to the Baggies – just before kick-off.

“He went to watch them and – no word of lie – he’s said to us that we have got a chance.
“Whilst there is a chance, there is belief and while there is belief, anything can happen.”
Wolves have lost six of their last 10 games, winning only twice.
As a result of Chorley’s run in the cup, tonight’s scheduled home clash against Kettering has been postponed.
