1. St George's Shopping Centre through the ages
Shoppers in St George's Shopping Centre, Preston had an unexpected pleasure when 34 of the finalists for the Miss Preston Guild contest lined up in the sunshine to pose for an LEP Photographer. Eighteen of the girls represent Preston firms and the others have been chosen from four heats open to the public which attracted more than 200 entries.
