Today, April 2, is the beginning of your Bank Holiday Easter weekend. Preston will today be fine and dry with plenty of sunshine, but with occasional patchy cloud cover.

The city will see temperatures of around average for the time of year but it will feel pleasantly warmer in the sunshine.

Tomorrow, April 3, will be much the same. The majority of the day is looking fine and dry day with plenty of sunshine.

It will become chilly into the night, with frost and fog and maximum temperatures 12 °C.

From Sunday, the weather will become more unsettled from the afternoon with rain and then lighter showers. The weather will become cold with breezy conditions.

Overcast conditions will remain throughout Bank Holiday Monday with highs of around 6°C.
