Walk in the park followed by afternoon tea
St Catherine's Hospice organised a walk through Cuerden Valley Park, followed by afternoon tea at The Mill Café.
The walk was led by members of Lancashire Dotcom Walkers, and although the group wase drenched by the rain, they were consoled by the delicious tea afterwards.
The next St Catherine’s walk takes place next Thursday, February 18, led by Bob Clare, of the Lancashire Dotcom Walkers.
The three-mile walk will also conclude with afternoon tea at the Mill in St Catherine’s Park, Lostock Hall, but on this occasion walkers will be taken there on vintage transport by the Ribble Vehicle Preservation Trust.
The walk starts at 1.30pm and costs £15 to join, with money going towards the charity.
