Tyson Fury reveals the scary reason why he & the family have left Morecambe
Champion boxer Tyson Fury has confirmed his departure from the Lancashire town he called home for nearly two decades.
Heavyweight boxer Tyson Fury first moved to Morecambe in 2008, a year before he and wife Paris welcomed their first child, 16-year-old Venezuela.
Over the next 18 years in the area, Tyson and Paris welcomed another six children, whilst the family’s fame grew exponentially thanks to Tyson’s boxing career, their social media profiles and latterly their reality show appearances.
Back in December however we revealed that the famous brood may be leaving the Lancashire town for good.
Tyson, who is the director of the firm Tyson Fury Ltd, changed his residency details on Companies House to “Isle of Man”, having last been “England” back in July 2025.
Wife Paris, 36, had made the same changes on the Companies House documents for her firm, Paris Fury Ltd.
At the time however, and still to do this day, Tyson Fury Ltd and Paris Fury Ltd’s registered addresses are still 304 Oxcliffe Road, Heaton with Oxcliffe, Morecambe LA3 3EJ, which they both changed to from 49 Marine Drive Hest Bank Lancaster LA2 6ED also in July 2025.
At last however Tyson - who returned to the ring after 16 months on Saturday with a points victory of Arslanbek Makhmudov - has confirmed they really have upped sticks and left.

In the second series of the family’s Netflix documentary, At Home with the Furys, only released yesterday, the exact moment Tyson made the decision to move is shown.
As the series was filmed last year, the Fury’s are still based in their Morecambe mansion but in episode 8, the boxer drops the bombshell on Paris whilst holidaying in the south of France.
Tyson tells his wife: “My mind's made up, let's leave Morecambe Bay”.
A shocked Paris then tells the camera “It's strange to me because he loves Morecambe so much.”
Upon their return to Morecambe, the reason for the move is partially explained, Tyson explaining: “I've been in Morecambe for 17 years, and there's no personal life, everything's public, where I live, where the kids go to school, there's no privacy, it doesn't exist”.
As the show continues, we see as Tyson sways back and forth with the idea but finally at the end of the series, the family are shown packing ahead of the move and saying their goodbyes.
Tyson tells the camera: “We're definitely leaving Morecambe.
“It's made a big impact on my life. It's where my kids were born and raised. I've got great memories of Morecambe.
“But now it's time to let it go.”
Speaking ahead of his clash with Arslanbek Makhmudov last week, Tyson was also asked how his recent move to Morecambe had gone and in his response, Tyson revealed more details about why they decided to move.
Tyson told reporters: “'Sometimes you can just be in a place too long and everybody knows where you live. I had to disconnect my intercom on the gates because every weekend I had crackpots and drunk people ringing the doorbell and asking for Tyson.
“The final straw was when I had a lunatic come over my gates, 40-foot gates and I've got an attack dog. I've got everything. The police came and he said: ‘I'm here to be adopted by Tyson and Paris.’
“The man was about 35-years-old and he was saying that we were going to adopt him. He was wearing a dressing gown and pyjamas. When the police asked where he came from, he said London and that he was here to visit his father and mother. This man could have had a knife on him, or anything.
“'I wasn't home, I was at the gym and Paris phoned me going nuts and then it was actually one of our neighbours who saw someone climbing over the bins and she phoned the police.
“'But that wasn't the only one. I've had a million nut jobs at my place. One time there was a guy and he was dressed in shells, all seashells – from head-to-toe – looked like an absolute lunatic. He said God sent him to speak to me.
“But my manager Spencer offered him 20 quid and he grabbed it and vanished.”
