Lasting between one day and three days, motorists are advised to avoid these areas* if they can or plan their journey to give themselves more time.
As there are 25 roadworks beginning between Monday, July 20 and Sunday, July 26 we have only listed those involving closures, stop/go boards and temporary traffic lights.
So take a look at the roadworks you will most want to be aware of this week, including how long they will last.
*For clarification purposes: the road scene captured is as close to where the roadworks are situatated as we can tell from the council’s bulletin.

9. Brownedge Road, Lostock Hall (3)
What: Temporary traffic lights Why: 1 x digdown on FW and 1 x CW blockages. Out of hours working. Existing services present which may mean this may need to be carried out as new track rather than blockages. Due to the existing services there is the potential for this new track to need to be ran in the carriageway rather than the footway. This will be determined on site at the beginning of the works via the use of a trial hole. (Open Fibre Networks Ltd) When: Jul 22- Jul 25 | Google Maps
