M6 delays as motorists face lane closure in Preston

One lane is currently closed while emergency repairs take place on the northbound carriageway between junction 32 (Broughton, M55) and junction 31 (A59/Samlesbury).

Traffic is queued back to junction 28 at Leyland and the M65 at Clayton Brook.

National Highways expects the lane to be reopened by 5pm. There are currently delays of 10 minutes on approach.
