The hype will never last we hear it all the time - SpudBros clap back at doubters with throwback pic

Preston’s Spudbros Harley and Jacob have a message for their doubters and it’s in the form of a throwback picture from the 2000s.

Taking to their socials they recalled the phrase they hear on the regular.

They said: “THE HYPE WILL NEVER LAST…”

“We hear that all the time.

“Well here’s a photo from the 2000s, taken in the same spot.

“This business has been serving people since 1955, obviously it wasn’t Harley and I back then.”

They added: “The humble spud has always been a UK staple. Generations have grown up on jacket potatoes, and generations still will. It’s proper comfort food, affordable, filling, and part of British culture.

“Trends come and go… but spuds? They’re here to stay.”

The pair who recently won Highly commended food and drink influencer of the year have also launched a mammoth foodie challenge where if you finish it you win £1,000.
