The new measures will come into effect from Monday.
All Seasons Leisure Centre in Chorley will introduce new pool system measures starting next week.
From Monday coloured swimming bands will now be introduced from 4pm to 8pm to help lifeguards and duty managers manage swimming pools safely and effectively during busy periods.
A spokesperson for the leisure centre said: “It is essential you check in at our reception desk when you arrive for your swim or swimming lessons as everyone in the Pool must have a wristband to gain access.
“We also recommend booking your swim sessions in advance
“Thank you for your understanding and cooperation, we'll look forward to welcoming you to Chorley Leisure.”
