A man has been arrested after police seized a large quantity of suspected drugs and cash during a raid at a property in Accrington on Christmas Eve.

Officers attended a house on Hill Street on the morning of Wednesday, December 24, after concerns were raised about the occupant’s activity.

A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs and officers carried out a search of his bedroom.

During the search, police recovered a large quantity of drugs believed to be ketamine, along with a sum of cash.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: “We hope this reassures you that we do listen, and we do act on information given to us.”
