Roof catches fire at home in Bamber Bridge

Two fire engines from Penwortham and Bamber Bridge, along with one fire engine and an aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn, attended the scene in Station Road at around 7.15pm last night (April 19).

Firefighters equipped with two breathing apparatus used one hose reel to battle the flames before using a using a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.

No injuries were reported, the fire service said.
