Preston Station toilets rank second worst in North for satisfaction
Preston railway station's toilets are rated second worst in the North after a survey of rail passengers
The toilets at Preston railway station are big loo-sers when it comes to customer satisfaction.
A survey among rail passengers has revealed the city’s station toilets are the second worst in the north.
The station’s facilities rank only below Manchester Victoria’s as the second worst reviewed rest rooms in the region.

Forty three per cent of the reviews of Preston’s toilets are negative, according to the study by Manchester-based digital marketing agency Dark Horse.
Preston’s results are far better than Manchester Victoria, where more than two thirds of those surveyed said they would give them a miss.
Manchester also clinches second spot with Piccadilly station coming in third.
The best station amenities are at York with the majority of customers flushed with success and only 28 per cent reporting a bad experience.
The findings come from an analysis of reviews on TripAdvisor.
Dark Horse scored 52 UK and European railway stations, selecting the busiest.
Preston, second worst in the North and 17th overall, had one reviewer describe the toilets as “a smelly disgrace”.
The North's worst, Manchester Victoria, ranks seventh of the 52 stations, putting it among the grimmer stations in the UK and Europe.
With both of Manchester's major stations in the regional top three, the city accounts for much of the North's poor showing.
Train operator Avanti West Coast is to carry out a refit of Preston Station toilets designed to make the existing bathroom facilities more pleasant to use.
