Preston restaurant Naafiah to expand with eighth Lancashire branch
A Preston restaurant and takeaway is set to expand with its eight branch across Lancashire.
Restaurant chain Naafiah already has seven branches in Lancashire, two of which are in Preston - but now it apears another is set to open on the Fylde Coast.
Last week, two applications were submitted for 375 Promenade, Blackpool FY1 6BH by Preston based Suhail Manjra who is the owner of Naafiyah.
The first application was for the display of one internally illuminated fascia sign and the second for the installation of a new shop front.
The plans also include the replacement of windows at shop/restaurant front, to include proposed new automatic sliding doors, with new glazing on either side.
The 376.10 square metres site, previously home to Lates Diner, is to remain as a food retailer according to the application form and planning drawings reveal that the new signage is for another Naafiah restauant.
The proposed front elevation features a black sign with the name “Naafiah” written in orange writing whilst text underneath also reads “PIZZA & GRILL”.

The new proposals for the building include no internal changes and no changes to car parking spaces, remaining at three.
This new restaurant would mark Naffiah’s first on the Fylde Coast, it’s other branches being on Harewood Road and Manchester Road in Preston; Audley Range and Victoria Street in Blackburn; Colne Road, Burnley; Halliwell Road, Bolton and Blackburn Road, Accrington.
