Preston Live organisers issue statement as many still waiting on refunds three months on
The organisers of a music festival in Preston have issued an update to anyone still waiting on their refunds being processed.
Hundreds turned out to watch Tom Zanetti and Ella Henderson perform at Preston Live on Saturday, July 26, despite the scale back to one day.

Organisers had announced earlier that month that the Friday and Sunday at Showfield, Preston, would not go ahead owing to ticket sales not reaching the required level.
They assured those with tickets for Friday and Sunday that they could be exchanged for Saturday at no extra cost and that anyone unable to attend Saturday and would prefer a refund, that this would be processed in full.
However, many people who could not attend the Saturday event claim they are still waiting on refunds three months on.
Waqar Rashid who paid £77.10 for the event but was unable to attend says he is still chasing his refund.
He said: “A lot of people are awaiting on refunds from Preston Live, but no answer.
“I have sent one of several emails chasing a refund as well.”
Preston Live statement
A spokesperson for Preston Live said: “We are still processing refunds we are just waiting for funds to arrive from a VAT return which should be through next week then we will be refunding the remaining customers.
“We have so far refunded over £30,000 in refunds, there have been over 40 small festivals go under in 2025 with many of them not refunding any money to customers.
“Again we apologise for the delay to people still awaiting their funds to be refunded.”
